     II.  In accordance with the provisions of General Orders, No. 86, 
War Department, April 2, 1863, the Ninety-ninth Regiment, Illinois 
Volunteers, is hereby consolidated into a Battalion of five (5) 
companies - A, B, C, D and E - officers as follows, viz:
