US Postal Service Civil War Stamps
In 1995, the US Postal Service issued a block of 20 first-class letter
stamps with the theme "Civil War, 1861-1865, The War Between the
States". A large [abt 180 Kb GIF] image of these stamps can be found at

The following stamps are included in the set [left to right, top to bottom
when you are looking at the photo side of the stamp]. The back of each stamp
(gummed side) has a short description of the subject.
