Why be a Bahá'i

What could possibly make me go off THAT deep end, you ask?

OK, granted that being a Bahá'i is not considered being one of the crowd or being even average for that mater. However, it does have it's strong points. The Bahá'is promote:

• Racial Unity.
• Equality between women and men. (Like two wings of the same bird)
• The basic unity of the world religions.
• There is only one God.
• Science and Religion harmonize.
  • Science without Religion is Materialism.
  • Religion without Science is Superstition.
• The independent search for truth (Look it up for yourself and don't depend on someone else to cram his own version down your throat)
• Education of all. (Each child is entitled to a sound, basic education)
• Spiritual solutions to economic problems.
• A world peace, protected by a world commonwealth.

The list could go on and on but this still isn't the important part.

The important part is that The Baháí Faith is for TODAY!

The religion of Bahá'u'lláh is ours, a gift from God to help us, this whole world, today, now. His teachings bring solutions to TODAY'S problems because this New World that we're living in came with the blessings and grace of God, and the manual for living in it is the Bahái Faith
